Malaysia Landscape Architecture Awards 2013

The Village at Bangsar South has been selected as one of the recipients of the prestigious MLAA 2013 for its excellent landscape design. This is the second win for the 60-acre flagship Bangsar South development as The Central Park was also conferred an honour award at the MLAA in 2012. As the gateway to the entire Bangsar South development, The Village is home to the UOA Property Gallery, as well as a host of dining and convenience outlets.

The Central Park, a 6 acre lush greenery at Bangsar South – UOA’s 60 acre award winning flagship integrated city development – has received an honour award at the Malaysia Landscape Architecture Awards (MLAA) ceremony organised by the Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia.

The honour award was presented in recognition of The Central Park’s unique landscape and environment under the Professional Landscape Design & Planning criteria for outstanding works in design, environmental sensitivity and sustainability.

UOA Development Bhd (UOA) has emerged as the winner for The Edge Notable Achievement Award at The Edge Malaysia Property Excellence Awards 2012.

The award recognises the developer that has made significant success in raising its profile and reputation through its products and branding as a leading developer in the country. UOA is the inaugural recipient for 2012.

Forbes Asia’s 200 Best Under A Billion 2012

UOA Development Bhd (UOA) has been named amongst the top 200 Asia Pacific companies in Forbes Asia’s annual Best Under A Billion list for 2012. UOA is one of 14 companies from Malaysia that made its way into the list.

Selection for the prestigious award is based on solid sales and earnings growth out of 15,000 listed companies with annual sales of between US$5 million and US$1 billion in Asia Pacific. UOA, with a market value of US$548 million in the period under review, posted net income of US$121 million on US$194 million in sales.
